Then you're missing the very first step of the solution to the problem. If you don't stop these people from the get-go, it's a domino effect. Good people who don't want to associate will leave the site, and the bad people will attract more bad people. Then it's too late.

It's not up to you to decide who has access to a platform, is it? If you don't want anything to do with them, you can just block them. I don't see why they shouldn't have access to this platform as long as they're not breaking any rules here.

Yes, that's 1000% right. No, it's not strange at all. If I go to a website, and they haven't banned people like Alex Jones, and Nick Fuentes, and Andrew Tate, I don't want to be a part of the website. I find it strange that you would want to platform these hateful, divisive people. Are you insane?

You don't need a person's hate to happen on your platform before you ban them. You can just ban bad people from your platform. That's the basis of this entire discussion. Twitter allowed rampant hate speech to thrive, and it sent them under. It will happen here too. Quickly.

I can't describe quite how disappointed I am in where this app is going...I hope they have a turn around. I'm looking for alternatives. Maybe something less like social media, and more a place to just post to. Like a personal blog or newsletter or something.

I know I said I would be leaving bluesky, but I had to come back very quickly to say....WE MADE IT!!! MxM has been funded at the $15k level, and will be made into an offline Vtubing Production software.

My plans will be going forward as intended. I am happy. ^_^
