Early in working on Stun as a mechanic for Riftbound we found it to be really interesting as a combat trick. It was a lot like a localized "Fog" effect- it could stop an Enemy Unit from dealing Damage, really tilting complex fights in your favor.

If you find you need of a way to deal with controlling lists/ you need a less interactable Thassa line, I would consider Thought Lash. Since this happens during your Upkeep, you can palm an Emergence Zone or Borne Upon a Wind, but still have your control suite to run down the table on the off turn

This game was my white whale growing up. Never did I know a "Puyo Pop". I knew a "Mean Bean"- and when Sonic Mania paid the game homage in Chemical Plant Zone I wept the sweetest tears of childhood joy.

Paradise Killer. Immaculate Soundtrack. Flawless world. If I could forget a game to experience it for the first time, again, this is the game I would do that for. I love this entire experience from tip to tail.

Surprising no one, allow me to introduce you to me long-term obsession. A major time-sink, hobby, social experience, and unironically the single greatest narrative experience I have had in a game. I owe a lot to this game both in a virtual and literal sense- friendships, family, and experiences.

Not just a Billie Eilish song, ilomilo is a game that really impacted me in Uni. The multiple Summer of Arcade releases had already sent my mind abuzz with shorter games on console, at the time, and ilomilo's release between LIMBO and Bastion was an adorable and emotional Jackhammer that year.
