It’s very clear that Ashihara’s dropped the Osamu-Chika teasing which was almost certainly forced by editors. The same is absolutely true of Jin’s early pervertedness, which has completely disappeared too, I really hope that doesn’t make it into the reboot anime.

Just a tiny blurb at the end of a chapter but it’s so important to the world building. The Neighbourhood speccing way too hard into Trion tech, which doesn’t exist externally from humans, over the more efficient and independent electricity, is key to why all the planet nations are more or less—

Always been a big fan of Hyuse’s Trigger set, it’s what I’d like to use if I were an Attacker. Even Escudo; I’m glad it gets a chance to shine with Hyuse’s big brain.

Don’t take it personally, Hyuse. You don’t know it, but it’s just the difference between you, who has spent the last 2-3 years using the ranged Lambiris, and Kuga, who’s been having a hell of a time with his melee-focused Black Trigger.

Freakoma. Another example of Border having an unparalleled swordsman despite not being at constant war like the Neighbour worlds. It’s also just unfair how this isn’t a huge all or nothing special attack that costs a lot of Trion, Ikoma can just do this as many times as he wants.

Absolutely brutal. Also a nice touch that you can see Kuga Scorpion-ing his wounds again to make sure he doesn’t get forcefully BO-d.
