The polarization of Tarkir draft can be summed up with a single card, Dragonstorm Globe. This enabled the 5c Dragon deck, made the dragons bigger than intended, and sped up these decks to cast their 5 and 6 drops faster. Without this card 3 color decks would be able to shine. 6/x

Bloomburrow was on rails because the hybrid common creatures were too tied with their mechanic. Playing the hybrid creatures in a deck that didn't play both colors was a mistake, thus negating the point of making them hybrid to begin with! Corpseberry Cultivator is the perfect example. 5/x

Both decks. Rares help a ton obviously, but these decks don’t win without the removal to back them up.
