one really simple heuristic start from the left assume that things are minimally spaced. then start from the right and assume the same thing. Then union the two spans. chatgpt did a marvelous job incorporating a number of off by one errors. which needed to be fixed.

Subscribed to games magazine was presented with this paint by numbers puzzle so I’m trying to code a solver with chatgpt. Can certainly help with the dumb ui parts, but the algorithmic parts well, I’m still feeling useful.

Also turn on some sort of antialiasing, this amount of jaggies on a display that’s this large is just embarrassing, show some pride in your work, that’s a complete abomination and a crime against all that is holy.
