i get that the industry has to move forward and evolve its tech, just move forward gradually.

nearly all of us have multi-thousand dollar setups that use lighthouse tracking so releasing something new that supports virtually none of it will be a huge deterrent

I don't get the wireless vs wired debate.
Use whatever works best for you.
Just be ready to mod and diy when the industry moves on and tech evolves as it always has.
(also Valve said they're open to continue supporting base stations if there's enough demand)
