Feels lost to multiple traumas, and a system feeling like more domestic abuse back in my home. Once a useful, bright, helpful, likeable intelligent soul, now reduced to a sad sad MitaBean.
Sending hugs and condolences Gerri it is the least I can do my lovely. Wishing you peace and healing in your heart in 2026 💕💔💕

May I ask, does Comfrey pretty much die back in winter pls? I took a risk & put some into a tub last year. It's been rampant as comfrey can be, same as in a bed all summer into late autumn. I've not been up the top end for 3 or 4 weeks, it's not dried out, not overly wet, but definitely died back.

Rachel, thankfully there are some good carers, but many leave a lot to desire, yet paid the same rate. It's a shame some end carrying the rest. It seems the offices that are the biggest problems though, willing to over load them into rushing calls. Sliding of the socially accepted norm & all that 🫣

Wishing her as pain free a night as possible Rob, and sending hugs to all as you will need them too. 💕

Good evening Lynn and I am late as usual! That's about the only thing I miss with being housebound, charity shops 💕 I love a good bargain as well as doing the charity a good too. I used to take a lot of things there we needed rehoming too. I set up home again in 2004 purely on charity shops 😁

I was another who worked the bank hols. We got the choice of Christmas Day, or NY day & as the working pupils wanted NY day off to recover, we had Christmas Day. The bank hols were hard work but nice, staff, working pupils, a few special needs group who also decided they'd rather be out helping. 💕

I just need to get back with a pain clinic proper, consultant led one, but the nearest is an hour's travel away unlike the last area it was 10 minutes up the road, so an hour travelling home would undo any treatments. Oral meds are severely limited for life since 2014 & a major stomach bleed. 🙄

Hopefully yours will be fine or even better, very occasionally they are better! Then they swap you back again x

I am another, Jay, happy to let it float out and the new float in. It gets to be same old crap different year or worse old crap different year. I agree about those needing a day off most will be working, especially those doing care, human, animal, food production etc. Unpaid carers we're never off🫤

A message we all should take on board more often, talk to ourselves like we would a best friend, and self pamper a lot more. Happy New Year LW 💕

Belated happy birthday Didi, and I've done battle with the tesco order putting it away so I empathise. Also praying 2026 is a better year for everybody too. Enjoy your evening lovely 💕

Half the time the replacements don't quite work the same. It does make a difficult life much harder. Sending hugs 🫂

Salut CJ, and almost the year out now. My party animal days also long gone. Used to be decent village hall NY bash, then back to one or the other of us, til around 5am! I was still off to get horses breakfasted by 7am though, whistling my merry way and not as much as a hangover! 😯😁

Still cold and dry here at 7.22pm. Looking like another frosty one according to the starry twinkly sky 🥶

I hope you now have your feet up and your meds were ready to collect, Rachel. It's been a crap year for meds not where they should be when they should be. Hopefully 2026 they may just be back out of the mess changing Drs caused in April. My full medical notes are still missing though. 🙄🫤

Same wished for you and yours too A-W. I wish you all 'enough' 💕

It's been an absolutely horrible year here as well Caroline, pls get the cats to bury it. Private help turns up 9am with virus & mask. There's a big sign on the inside porch glass door that says I've autoimmunes, if you 'think' you have a virus or are unwell, please don't come in. Sent back home. 😣

Good Afternoon and Happy New Year's Eve #ORChestra friends. I'm still here to annoy the system and that's the good news! Have a good evening tonight, and an even better day tomorrow 💕 😁

Wiltshire Farm are the similar counterparts but more often plugged by the SS. These guys do the same duty of care as Wiltshire, but we find these tastier. They've looked after us well for around 18 years now. Puddings to die for 😍just eating one of their Hunter's Chicken paninis as we speak, for tea

Diana, Oakhouse Foods do lovely pureed, soft bite and what ever they all call the inbetweeny one! We've had their ready meals for years, taste like proper cooking, surprising amounts in them veggied up a little more. Carer for us, we recommended them to her for her Dad, he loved the pureed ones. 🙂
