I am hundreds, probably actually thousands, of hours into Slice & Dice and I am *still* encountering totally novel, exciting situations. For sure my all time fav turn-based roguelike.

(My strong rec on how to play: Cursed Hyper mode w/ 20% wild modifiers on)

Could you let me know whether everything has subtitles, or there are elements of spoken word without subtitles? I see on PlayStation store it states "The game includes subtitles for the main story and main characters only." But thought maybe you had subtitle everything?

Ooooh! New game from Size Five!? This looks very neat indeed. (Also, can highly recommend their previous game, Lair of the Clockwork God)

Yes saw that big announce. But missed that it impacted Xbox tags like Large Subtitles that used to have a clause that they needed to be able to be 2x on size. Now doesn't have that higher bar it seems. Thanks for the input. Really useful.

Thanks Ian. I also notice the Xbox tags have been adjusted. I wonder if that as announced or reported anywhere you spotted?

Hey Accessi-friends has PlayStation published a full list and definitions of the Accessibility tags it uses on store pages like this? Googling hasn't helped me so far. (@ianhamilton.bsky.social @laurakbuzz.bsky.social @caniplaythat.com et al.)

This is one mostly for @geekdadgamer.bsky.social. An email I sent to a magazine website in 2009, suggesting (in my younger and more awkward way) that they needed to make something like Ludocene.

I won't ask for royalties though 😀
Hi there,

I got some free Amazon vouchers and went looking for some slightly older games to spend them on. What I noticed is that trying to find a list of decent games when you don't have a specific name in mind can be a bit of a nightmare. To this end it would be really useful if there was a filter to put over the reviews section. Arranging by genre would be a start, but even better would be an all-time top 10 (or even 20) per genre. So I can go "I want to try a JRPG, which So I can go would be my best bet?"
, do some filter magic and find a list of the best ones with links to the reviews.
I ended up using the Metacritic tables and the review links there, but since I've always found I agree with the reviews anyway it would
be nice to have it as a one-stop shop.

Just a thought :)

New jam game! 🌻👿 SLAUGHTERING CAN 👿🌻 Made in a weekend for #PEGJAM 2025. The theme was "An Unconventional Weapon", so I tried to make a watering can feel like a satisfying weapon. It's a small, loud, and silly little project. Try it here: graebor.itch.io/slaughtering...

The problem is that words do trick, though.

It was basically point-and-click after all.
