Didn't realise Pentax released a new film camera this year, saw and held it in a shop while getting ID photos done. Half-frames are admittedly quite fun, and this thing is clearly aiming for a more casual audience given the feature set. But $700 for a fancy toy is patently absurd!

Had to skip a dose while I waited to get paid... I'd almost forgotten what being hungry was like lmao
my hot take on GLP-1s: in my 2+ decades of dealing with (TII) diabetes this drug is absolutely the most miserable and that includes SGLT2 which sent me to the ICU with ketoacidosis after the second dose. Even cutting out a significant amount of fat from my diet the digestive issues are *constant*

A phone-sized eReader is one of those things that sounds immensely stupid and useless until you actually have one and you're carrying it around all the fuckin time. This thing pulls double duty as a DAP too if you need one. We lost the plot when we got rid of expandable storage and headphone jacks

Went to see Wicked tonight and I'm honestly just a little confused. Until the title card came around had no idea this was gonna be a two-parter but holy hell the movie was just way overstuffed. Everything took so agonisingly long and the asides they filled it with were not funny?

Re: TGA's GOTY: games of the yearses is not for legit media crit and only for hot takes so here's mine: every single game on that list save Balatro is no more or less an obvious inclusion than any other. It is a list of momentum than anything else.
