Last couple of days have been very "meh". One big downside to putting a lot of yourself in to your work is that you become tied to it. I am lucky to be very passionate about what I do for a living, however, that passion can get me hung up on things and leaves me feeling drained.

Don’t ever let anyone tell you that your vocational ambition is any less vulnerable than that of your avocation’s. Professional letdowns can hurt just the same and rightly so. You don’t have to love what you do to take pride in it, but when you do indeed have both, misses can be heartbreaking.
