To Donald Trump:

Stop using military troops and ICE to invade and disrupt American cities.

Stop calling your political opponents “enemies” of the US.

Stop attacking the 1st Amendment.

Our troops and our nation deserve better than you acting as a petty tyrant.

Trump: San Francisco and Chicago, New York, Los Angeles… We'll straighten them out one-by-one. It will be a major part for some of the people in this room. It’s a war too. It’s a war from within

“A DESPERATE SITUATION” 🧑‍🌾

Trump’s trade war is crushing Tennessee soybean farmers, as China — their largest customer — buys NOTHING from them.

Why don’t @GovBillLee @MarshaBlackburn @RepChrisTodd @rustygrills @CSexton25 @RepFaison @AndyOgles care?

An antisemite shot two kids in Colorado, at least one of whom is Jewish.

The White House “fighting antisemitism” doesn’t care, because the shooter was a student radicalized online into far right beliefs, which the regime is cool with, rather than a student verbally criticizing Israeli govt policy.
‘Radicalized’ Evergreen High School shooter appeared to hold antisemitic, violent views in online accounts
Social media accounts that appear to be connected to the 16-year-old shooter are littered with references to mass shootings and antisemitic views, The Denver Post found.

Yes. I am right. I am seeing how Chat GPT is ruining students critical thinking and writing skills in real time. It is not the future. It is a tool designed to render the populace helpless, to make people doubt their innate intelligence, and to foster overreliance on technology.

The owners of this ostrich farm are invested in a company trying to make commercial ostrich antibodies a thing (originally for dieting?) & in addition to ignoring the cull order, have continued to violate quarantine orders, allowing infected & even dead birds to be exposed to other wildlife & humans

Once viewed as the path out of the pandemic, mRNA vaccines are now being vilified — & not just by fringe figures. The attack on this important platform could render the US far more vulnerable in the next pandemic & trailing China in the field of scientific advances. www.statnews.com/2025/06/02/m...
mRNA, once lauded as a scientific marvel, is now a government target
The sharp turnaround on mRNA vaccines shows the unprecedented rise of anti-vaccine activists to power

The Luddites had a great phrase for what they opposed: "Machinery hurtful to commonality." It's an excellent reminder that being a Luddite doesn't mean you hate technology, but that you hate the way capitalists create and use technology to destroy community and human flourishing.

Luddites weren't anti-tech.

They were against technology being used by the capitalist class to capture wealth at the expense of the worker.

I am a Luddite, and a tech enthusiast. They're not in opposition. I want technology that makes MY life better, not that sells my life piecemeal to corps.

I hate crypto, I hate online gambling, I hate AI, I hate pay-later, I hate subscription models, I hate the gig economy, I hate ring cameras, I hate drones, I hate self checkout.

I don't want to come off as a luddite but capitalism's hold on tech sucks.

A horrible story but god bless this woman so accurately reading the ICE goons for filth here
Marisa said she is eft with nothing BUt questions.
"What if I would have been armed," she 2 said. "You're breaking in. What am 1 supposed to think? My initial thought was we were being robbed-that my daughters, being females, were being kidnapped. You have guns pointed in our faces. Can you just reprogram yourself and see us as humans, as women? A little bit of mercy. Care a little bit about your fellow human, about your fellow citizen, fellow resident. We bleed too. We vork. We pleed justlike anybody else bleeds. We're scared. You could see our faces that we were terrified. What makes you so much more worthier of your peace? What makes you so much more worthier of protecting your children? What makes you so much more worthy of your citizenship? What makes you more worthy of safety? Of being given
the ight t that they took from me to protect my daughters?"

“When you justify surveillance by saying that it's only going to be used against the most violent criminals, what you end up seeing is those technologies become - slowly, over time- an everyday aspect of policing,” EFF’s @mguariglia.bsky.social told @nbcnews.com.
