The Russian HR organization Ovd-info has prepared an annual report on repression in the most gloomy year 2024. Repression affects 2,976 people, 620 of whom began to be persecuted in 2024 according to Meduza.io. 1/

Now that a second state has decided to keep Donald Trump off the primary ballot for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, there is increased pressure on the Supreme Court to act — and to do so quickly.
Supreme Court faces pressure to decide if Trump is on the 2024 ballot
If other states follow Colorado and Maine, there is a risk of a patchwork of decisions, with Trump appearing on ballots in some states but not others.
