35 years ago today Lithuania restored independence from the Soviet Union! Grateful to my parents and the entire generation for their courage and determination.

During a summit in Tallinn, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, and the United Kingdom agreed to stop and deter the ships of Russia's shadow fleet. This is stated on the website of the Estonian government, UNN reports.
