I should add—I’m far from an expert, but I think the premise is over-wrought: stealth aircraft aren’t completely untrackable and untargetable; a military fielding an advanced stealth air fleet will also have sophisticated integrated detection and tracking systems.

Yes, thats what I meant by “much of”. It’s true that ground based radar was a major contribution to winning the Battle of Britain; at the same time, the initial German attacks were aimed at achieving air superiority by bombing British airfields.

Aerial combat in World War I and much of World War II was conducted without radar, especially radar mounted on aircraft. Some amount of interception would still presumably be possible. On top of that, by bombing opposing airfields, each side would try to degrade the other air force’s capability.

If you masked and superimposed the drawer on the left background that might help. But I’ll suggest that red oak will be a somewhat jarring contrast while midnight blue will subtly unify the room.

Per the OED, at the time the 12th amendment was written, “eligible” encompasses the meaning “electable”. Therefore a person who may not be elected President, by terms of the 22nd Amendment, may not be elected Vice-President.
