Throwback to that time I painted my husband's boarding pass from our Disney vacay along with a bunch of other things from the trip. The background is painted to look like a wood board, as that was what the items were mounted on for the still life. Yes, that masking tape is painted too. 🙃 #painting

I felt compelled to play with gold leaf and metallic pigment today and ended up going abstract—something I don’t typically do.

The first title that came to mind was Gratitude.

I feel like everything in my life has come full circle…and somehow, it’s all become gilded.

Now that I’ve gotten that bag out of my system, I can get back to painting. My little collection of tiny paintings (4"x4" and 6"x6") is growing fast! I’ll be more than ready for the art fair in October—and my feature wall in the gallery this September and October.

My first round of stickers arrived and I am in LOVE!!!
