Found this #ibelieveinbookfairies book outside my local library on Friday. Never heard of the scheme but what a fab idea. Anyway this book is phenomenal. I suspect I’m late to the party but it’s such an important, poignant story for our times. Laugh out loud funny in a couple of places too #booksky

Nostalgic bath time bangers courtesy of my 13/yo who’s found Brown via oasis. Taking me right back to y12 work experience walking from Leeds bus station to Thackray Medical museum. Storming up Beckett Street with the Walkman on like queen of the world! #nostalgia #music #memories

Littlest love sulked cause I took the big one to the game Weds. Promised him a solo day today. He picked going on the bus to the ‘big library’ and sweets that turn your tongue blue. I can’t help but think the world would be a better place if we all appreciated it 5 y/o style. #family #qualitytime

My dad has glioblastoma. We found out in early July, we were told initially it was inoperable and he had weeks to live. Fast forward 4 months and he’s had brain surgery, done 5/6 weeks of radio and chemo and last night made me chicken Kiev for tea. My dad is the best #family #livingwithcancer

This is an absolutely awesome addition to our coffee table. Such a cool way to make the kids aware of some phenomenal stories. They’re started asking ‘who is it today mum’ - often to throw me off my stride when I’m ranting about something else but a win nonetheless #books
