one more for the road~ it's plenty rough around the edges but it's so clearly made with so much heart, they had such a vision for this game & they aimed high (and mostly succeeded!) i didn't expect to be crying the last 30m of the game but episode six really tied it together 😭

another banger, continues to drip with style and smart characterization + cyberpunk worldbuilding
the plot writing was a liittle looser than i remember from ep1 i think but i love morgan serra and emma and am so excited to see how everything unfolds

not a 2025 game i know but i started it as a way to dip back into MVs after feeling bad about falling off of silksong for the time being - mostly liked the visual style & music of this one but there was a Lot of (ok) story that broke up the (ok) gameplay too often

pretty solid metroidvania! story is a little loose but i very much enjoyed the boss battle design throughout, it's got a cute style and i liked the movement options and platforming puzzles

athreos was from some time back in the 2010s that i built out of just cards around and played maybe once?? and then the other three were from 2020 when i actually came back to magic

delightful little puzzle platformer! clever design and smart weaving of mechanics in a cute and charming wrapper
it's only like two hours long (or three if you're like me and not that good at puzzles) i def recommend checking it out

mini arena shooter that i found super charming, the conceit is that it takes place within old online servers that have been taken over by bots but there are very human secrets to be found :)

i 'beat' this a couple weeks ago but wasn't sure when it made sense to add it to my list - i had watched and enjoyed the fatt launch day stream so i already like, knew the game going in
charming and clever commentary on perceptions of chance and a type of game distilled down

very fun and electric follow up to severed steel, an open world fps that's mostly just about moving around and having a blast doing it
i liked the simple framework around the collectibles and gun mastery quite a bit, there's more for me to go back to and an expansion pack!
