Ratchet and Clank: Life of Pie (2021)

A short released to Crave from Rainmaker (the same studio that animated the movie) it oozes Nickelodeon TV CG pilot. It's been a while but I think I like this more than the movie. It was simple, but kind of charming.

Mee Christmas (2000)

I had this on VHS as a kid, I knew it was a nothing special, and in forcing my friends in a vc tonite, its dogshit. Nothing happens, it looks like ass, there's no effort in a story or entertainment. It got like, two laughs out of @cdiganon.bsky.social tops TOPS

But I'm a Cheerleader (1999)

I was in for a surprise knowing just the title and poster for this queer comedy. It was a cute spin on a tried formula. I liked the casts performances and the artificial feel of the main location of the movie.

The Beekeeper (2024)

Solid action movie with creatively choreographed sequences. I enjoy Jason Statham movies but this one stands out for the quality. I find some of the early exposition to be slight lulls in the movie, but picks up later and is engaging otherwise to more than make up for that.

The Thunderbolts (2025)

I am starting to enjoy superhero movies against after burnout for a few years. I think Thunderbolts only criticism I have is the attempt at humor aside from a few bits. There was however a tone of growth among Yelena and Bob, and the team that I liked against the grittier-

The Binding of Isaac: Repentance (2021)

I have finally done all the endings to this game, there is still so much to unlock and do in it but I'm considering it beat on a technical level. I adore Isaac, its how I connected with my college friends, its been an outlet for me.

Past Lives (2023)

Was a really pleasant movie with balancing the drama and the warmth of growing up, forming and drifting away from connections and coming to an understanding. A bit more fluff than I'd like in some places but I had a nice time.

Sonic Frontiers (2022)

I beat the main story, it was simple, but well executed in a lot of ways. I think the clashing of the island with some environment elements made sense but wasn't appealing to me. The tone and story/character moments were engaging, and I had fun navigating the worlds.

Predator Badlands (2025)

This is tied with Frankenstein for my favorite movie this year. It's tightly produced in all factors. I'm glad to have seen a movie fixated on the found family with my own. Has a lot of heart while also adhering to stunning action and setpieces.

Mamma Mia (2008)

I had fun with this one, it was entertainingly absurd with it's premise, the cast was fun. Jukebox Musical of ABBA made for a good variety. I enjoyed this movie owning it's weirdness in the characters and plot.

Gorillaz-Demon Days (2005)

This is one of my favorite albums ever, it goes through a wild array of thoughtful, energetic themes (mostly tragic). There is an artistry behind the instrumentation, lyrics, and overall performances. It meant a lot to me for processing my mom's death in 2013.

Frankenstein (2025)

Del Toro passion project comes together in a beautiful, melancholic iteration of the classic Mary Shelley novel. Excellent performances from the cast, stunning sets and shots. The somber but lingering hope genuinely moved me.

Foster the People-Paradise State of Mind (2024)

Psychadelic vibes that cover all sorts of genres, funk, disco, jazz, etc. I've been a fan of this band mainly for Torches but this was a cool expansion of their catalog.

Jamiroquai-The Return of the Space Cowboy (1994)

Acid Jazz (emphasis on Jazz) continues to groove through the discography of one of my favorite bands. More a sense of soaring the cosmos largely collecting themes of good vibes interspersed with some harsher tunes. Complimentary to Emergency.

Flaming Lips-Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots (2002)

I have been a fan of this band since college, enjoy the contemplative, smooth electric rock vibes. The major theme of the namesake isn't longlasting, but has tinges throughout the album's themes. A good jumping off point for the Flaming Lips.

Aezuron has always been the end goal villain of Jonmire's storyline. Polar opposite in beliefs and behaviors. I based him off obvious big villains in pop culture while feeding more into the despicable nature of who he is and what he's set to accomplish.
