God the himpathy is strong here. What are men doing abusing & controlling women for years then kill them, that isn't out of the blue, that isn't some expression of a loss of joy, getting drunk with their male colleagues they presumably don't rape & control them so it isn't just about alcohol.

Are people listening to the Reith lectures? I just heard the Professor say that domestic violence increasing over big football matches is a sign of how men can't find joy in their lives, even when their team win?! And that alcohol is the biggest driver of violence. What?
