These lovely cotton lace strips are vintage (70s), the old pink fabric is from goodwill and the fuchsia one is from my personal stash.

And then sometimes, just when you thought you were finally done with the backwards sewing, you do it twice in a row

The trickiest thing I've made is probably Airy's giant wings. Building them was an endeavor in itself but having them to stand on my back at the right angle while sporting open shoulders was the real challenge.

Accessories are of the essence to me. I cannot bring myself to wear shoes that don't match the aesthetic (do you even cosplay if your feet don't hurt). Makeup is as important and should fit the character. As for wigs, out of the bag is an unacceptable state.

I don't especially like sewing but I won't shy away from a challenge. I especially like using textured fabric for my costumes and I often shop for furniture material or curtains. For fur, I prefer rugs and the like to furry fabric.

When I'm not making something from scratch entirely, I LOVE to hunt for the perfect pieces to match my vision. Thrifting is my go to but buyinh new things is not off the table, especially if fhey can be reused or repurposed.

I like crafting all sorts of things for (and outside of) cosplay. Upcycling and recycling materials is my go to strategy when it comes to making props.
