But if I go to your profile I don't see it there. How did you do this black magic?
May 26, 2025 at 1:00 AM
I sent you a DM
where does this post even exist? I can't seem to find what it's connected to.
May 26, 2025 at 12:54 AM
No need to be rude. I get it's the internet and it's easy to not see people as people, but the least you can do is try to overcome the desire to be mean to people you don't know. I try my best to be patient with people. I hope you can extend the same courtesy to me.

I was trying to point out that the term sex alone has a lot of limitations in terms of descriptive potential when you are limited to using it solely in a vague colloquial sense. it leaves a lot of room for people to have different conceptions and misunderstandings.
May 26, 2025 at 12:11 AM
Ah, yeah, I see what you are saying like take responsibility for what you believe type of thing. I try my best to listen and understand. It's what I think more people on the Internet should focus on doing. But it's hard to fully explain what you think with nuance when there are limited characters
May 26, 2025 at 12:04 AM
I didn't realize that was how what I said was construed. I thought was agreeing with the initial ideas of the post.
May 25, 2025 at 10:57 PM
I try to keep my position in line with what I perceive to be the position of the broader community which changes as my understanding grows. I didn't mean to be wrong in what I thought was the broader consensus. My goal is to synthesize my ideas by hearing different perspectives.
May 25, 2025 at 10:56 PM
Sorry for being wrong, hope you can understand where my confusion was coming from and can forgive me. I thought your gonadal sex can be one thing while chromosomal and phenotypic sex can be something else. I thought you could change characteristics without changing sex in a colloquial sense.
May 25, 2025 at 10:48 PM
Also, I'm not arguing. I was just trying to understand what other people's perspectives were. My initial reply to the post was trying to be in agreement. I didn't realize it had bad implications.
May 25, 2025 at 9:27 PM
What???? Why are you putting words in my mouth?
May 25, 2025 at 9:23 PM
I had never really thought of it that way. I always saw it as changing the perceived gender that people had of me. Thanks for the perspective.
May 25, 2025 at 9:18 PM
I thought the community was in agreement that sex and gender were entirely separate and that the point of transition, hormones, and surgeries was to change gender and that all discussion of sex was a right wing taking point conflating the two.
May 25, 2025 at 9:04 PM
I'm sorry. I'm stupid. And can be a bit of a debatelord sometimes. Also you have 4k followers all jumping into the conversation and ganging up on me which makes me feel attacked. My initial statement was trying to agree with you. I didn't come here looking for a fight.
May 25, 2025 at 8:57 PM
Thanks that helps a lot actually, your the only person that actually explained. I appreciate it.
May 25, 2025 at 8:44 PM
Yes. I'm not trying to be combative here or anything. Like I just want to understand why you feel that you disagree, although we should better flesh out where the disagreement is first because it genuinely feels like you are projecting a bunch of stuff onto me that I don't think is deserved.

What about trans women that don't want vaginas? Are you going to throw them under the bus because they don't cross the arbitrary line of your biological measuring stick? You need to throw away the biological measuring stick entirely.
May 25, 2025 at 8:31 PM
Transphobes are going to hate us regardless of how "biologically" similar or not we are to the "normal" people. Trying to argue with them based on some biological trait measuring stick is only reinforcing the emphasis on biology.
May 25, 2025 at 8:28 PM
I understand that in our language terms for sex and gender are often incorrectly used interchangeably and thus the term male/female are offensive to trans women/men respectively. Even cis people can find it offensive at times although for obviously different reasons. Other languages handle it better
May 25, 2025 at 8:22 PM
Feel free to elaborate further
May 25, 2025 at 8:01 PM
Exactly it's conflating sex and gender. Which is dehumanizing by purely defining people based on their genitals or the genitals they were born with or chromosomes or whatever arbitrary metric they want to use.
May 25, 2025 at 7:56 PM
Yes, I have to correct people all the time.
Sex is already biological, you don't need to say biological sex, it is redundant and conflates sex and gender which are separate. Male/female are already sex words you don't need to specify biological because again redundant and again is conflating.

Seeing 40 patients a day instead of 20 doesn't suddenly increase the number of patients. What will happen when the hospital owners and admins realize it only needs to hire half as many hospitalists. You say goodbye to your job and they get a big bonus.

That's the issue with technological progress under a capitalist mode of production. Any time saving or increased efficiency is either used to lay off workers or work them harder without any increase in salary. All the extra money just goes to the executives and shareholders. That's why unions matter

If men don't like being penetrated then how come he loves it when I put a finger in his ass?
