We need a new political party to champion the cause of Liberty and Justice For All, one that recognizes Liberty as the absence of unjust authority of any kind and Justice as an exercise of love, not spite - a party whose structure ensures timely accountability and responsiveness to compelling causes

A President has special rules for impeachment, but everyone else in the Executive can certainly be lumped into a single article - 'accomplice to insurrection and treason'.

You need a Chief Justice to impeach a President, so Roberts impeachment must be last.

I recommend first replacing the Speaker.

Holding the line while they are ridiculed is antithetical to their values. The worst thing they can do for their cause is to look impotent - if they can't start hard-fascing they've gotta get out of the frame.

Part of the Constitution's definition of treason is "levying war against [states]", and it makes no exception for the federal government.

The soldiers' lawyers were fired, so they need us to tell them: our federal government is treasonous and is engaged in an insurrection against the Constitution.

It would be of great benefit to make sure the whole wide military knows that the Constitution states that waging war against a state is treason, and that remains true even when the federal government orders the treason.

The public discourse lacks this clarity, and the soldiers' lawyers got fired.

Even if it is superficially a net benefit it led to loss of resilience, such that when the global network fails for any reason all the local networks are guaranteed to also fail.

There is value to resilience that will never be relevant to shareholders.

I'm not telling the usurpers, I'm telling everyone else, state governments in particular, that we should call them out as dedicated enemies and treat them appropriately, not wait until they purge the military and we find out they don't intend to have any more elections. Secession is inappropriate.

Our rights are granted by one another to one another on a constant basis - it's only when someone diverges from this that the federal government gets involved. I'll grant some of that amity is predicated more on hassle than principle.

We don't have a fed anymore - it's occupied by insurrectionists.

A legitimate federal government could decide that. That legitimacy comes from the consent of the governed, and what we consented to is the Constitution.

The federal government neither grants nor interprets rights. The legislature acknowledges them and the judiciary interprets their acknowledgement.

All Americans are entitled to enforce constitutional rights, those who've taken the oath are obliged to do so. It's polite to invite a court to be involved.

Also, per the Ninth Amendment, all rights are constitutional rights - it's on the federal government to recognize them, not create them.

The text I quoted is in the Constitution, not law: it is on every federal officer to fight it or be counted as an accomplice, and it is on the states and citizens - those whose consent legitimizes the authority of the federal government - to remedy.

If Border Patrol doesn't follow court orders then they have usurped the Rule of Law and are engaging in an insurrection against the Constitution.

That would mean the Department of Justice is engaged in an insurrection against the Constitution by usurping the Rule of Law.

There is one clear remedy that Congress must do: Impeach, convict, and remove the entire treasonous regime. (Levying war against states is treason.)
