From generating electricity>generating creativity = where we’ve been + where we’re going.

We’re preserving this raw, industrial character as we transform the space. The building’s heritage is found everywhere- in each surface, every patch of colour, every trace of the people who created here before us.

We're proud to announce that The Generator is now generating renewable energy thanks to a newly commissioned 8kW solar array, marking a new chapter in the building's history. Once a powerhouse of industrial education, the building is once again a source of power -now for a sustainable future ⚡️

The closure has been extended by 2 days. Followed by a couple more days with the pavement remaining closed for core drilling into the building, earth pit for the lighting conductors, and water connection pits to be dug.

This architectural element combines form and function - raw steel against the backdrop of original brick and white tile walls creates the perfect balance of old and new.

These panels will provide comprehensive connectivity throughout the space. Wiring is nearly complete with conduit and cable pathways in place. Keep posted for more updates ⚡️
