Last night, we got a text from another parent that his teen had run off. I've been there where my own teen won't listen to me, but he'll listen to another adult. So I went off to find this neighbor kid. We drove around and I listened. I'm glad I could be there. We are the village.

I saw #wickedthemovie yesterday with my mom. I delighted in it, and I noticed that she cried a bit. For children who have felt unloved, this is a tough one, and I saw her not as my mom, but as a lonely little girl with a lot of pain. It's so good.

I'm enjoying over posting here. I don't get any likes because this space is so new. The temptation is to yell ridiculous things into the ether. On the book of faces, it seems like everyone reads everything, and so I am sooo careful. Not here! Mwa ha ha!

This week at work, we are having an auction where we auction off units that have gone unpaid for for months. After a month of constant contact, I will get calls from people who "just saw your email", and I am going to have to maintain my composure and not yell at them. People are dumb.

Before the election, I watched Pete Butigieg interview an undecided voter who was determined to vote for Jill Stein bc Harris wasn't hard enough on Israel. I would like to find her now, and smack her. Or maybe just point at her and laugh.

I lead the church choir and teach the primary kids music, including spending time with the tiniest tots in nursery. In 40 minutes, I get to hold choir practice. So for right now, I am sitting in my car, eating chocolate and listening to System of a Down.

My son had a friend over, and I could sense there was some romantic feelings. I asked them to leave the bedroom door open, and told them I'd turn up the TV, so they could talk. Later, he told me that the door open took off the pressure. Sometimes, I am a good parent. Can I say that? I can today!

Just saw #hopefortheflowers performed by #harttheatercompany. I took my 15 yr old son and his friend, who was seeing his first live play since elementary school. They loved it! I love introducing theater to teens.

I heard some #fionaapple on the radio, opened up my handy dandy YouTube music app, and went down a delicious rabbit hole of "Extraordinary Machine", #reginaspektor, #nekocase and #brandicarlile. I really hope I spelled those names correctly. I'm feeling strength and peace.
