Former Capcom Director Hideaki Itsuno said Capcom vs SNK 2 really came together and improved a lot in the final 3 months of development!

He says they were given the extra 3 months they needed but these days it is much harder to get extra time to work on a game.

Devil May Cry Director Hideaki Itsuno says he designed DMC5’s pacing with potato chips in mind!

He designed scenarios so players know when they can take a potato chip break. He wanted to make it clear when a cutscene was coming & give enough time to take a small break to eat some potato chips!

He also said he planned the game with the idea of players only having about 1 hour a day to play when they get home so tried to pace the game so that a 1 hour session of gameplay would be entertaining

A Japanese man was so excited for Ghost of Yotei he flew to Hokkaido to climb Mount Yotei and fully immerse himself in the world of the game before it’s release!

It was a 4 day trip (including 1 night in the mountains) and it took him 7 hours each way to climb
