In 2022, we had 34,309 IAB Downloads. As you can see, we have seen a significant decrease in listenership since 2022 (at least by IAB standards). That's not surprising. Since the start of 2023, we've had less time, energy, and will to promote the show.

In 2023, it looked like 28,277 IAB Downloads. IAB Downloads are calculated using a method that complies with the Interactive Advertising Bureau. It gives advertisers a standard by which they can judge a podcast's worthiness for ads.

We're extremely fortunate to have a small but loyal audience. Thanks to them, most of our costs are covered by Patreon subscriptions. We're profoundly grateful for that.

So what does a small but loyal audience look like for us? In 2024, it looked like a total of 23731 IAB downloads.
