Twin Dad that gets to occasionally play Magic. Working in IT, loving Math.
Gonna have to go with my "national" dish as a swabian. Linsen und Spätzle (Lentils and Spätzle). Super simple, but real comfy food. janke.im/blog/2024/Re... is the best basic recipe I found. Personally, I would add some bay leafs, and if you are not vegetarian some pork belly for flavor.

Just looked at Cardmarket price and it was like 660€ which is not great but also not as bad as you make it sound. Then I looked at TCGPlayer... this huge difference between Europe and US always baffles me.

Why would one worry. Go down to 1 using life as a resource and then going back up? The card is all upside.

Let me fix that for you:

I feel like any 1 Mana tutor is probably a game changer. Instant speed + OTB just pushes it extra hard, even if it is "just" a land.
And Swat is just like double worse than Rollick as Rollick is removal for their best thing while swat is protection for your best thing and removal for theirs.

People love their extra draws and don't want to get punished for that, so Bowmasters and Thief have to take a hit.
For Shards I guess it's the may and hitting artifacts and enchantments alike. The table is at your mercy for what gets to stick around and what not.

Yes, but this is one of the more extreme examples.

Cardmarket has them at 2,50€ which is right in the middle of the others. No data on mtgstocks for them.

Question is rather what is wrong with the US prices. Cardmarket also has the mountain as most expensive but at way less.

I am on the fence if I want to move this from my boomer jund pile to a more flavorful version. I imagine Kresh as an Outlaw/Landbound Pirate and then just have a Threaten subtheme.
I put together a first list on archidekt archidekt.com/decks/318888...
Kresh the Blackbearded • (Commander / EDH deck) • Archidekt
Kresh the Bloodbraided - Commander / EDH deck (1) Commander • (3) Boardwipe • (9) Card Draw • (4) Creature Producer • (37) Land • (2) Protection • (11) Ramp • (7) Removal • (10) Sac Theme • (12) Tr...

Still have this one build. It all started when my playgroup wanted to try out this new EDH thing and I had to grab a random Jund legend for my Jund highlander deck. No synergies involved at the start.

Funny enough WB is then the next color in line. I guess the other colors have the more consistent threats and you need a good mixture.

One thing sticking out to me is that the 3 worst color pairs are those with the least amount of "hard" removal as that traditionally is only available in WB.

Thanks to @gavinverhey.bsky.social for putting together such a great draft experience.

Even though I normally dislike control builds I ended up with a Uw Control deck, that multiple times just locked people by recurring "bounce to library" spells and then just beating them with my army of dogs and their dog walker. Alternatively, I just claim that all those scoops were Thoracle wins.
