Have you spent any time on RedNote? Americans are finding out that 🇺🇸 is the bad place and that our government lied to us about China. The Chinese people are learning that everything their government told them about America is true. They all feel bad for us.

TikTok is also where we watched the genocide in Gaza from first hand sources. Where we found out how to send money and help to the people suffering in other countries. It’s where we were made aware of everything our governments don’t want us to know. Don’t underestimate the impact of the loss.

We lost our community. As a chronically ill, disabled person, TT was where all my friends and I hung out. It’s where I learned my about my health conditions. I chatted with people from around the world and learned about their cultures. There is not an app that can come close to replacing it.

This isn’t an age thing. It’s a class struggle. Up vs Down.
