A quick reminder that "Kill them all" is an illegal order not just because it violates many laws, it's also illegal because the SecDef can't give the military operational orders. They're not in the operational chain of command. They're an advisor, policymaker, & civilian check on military power.

I understand it would be mutiny, but the JCS needs to publicly declare they will no longer accept orders of any kind from Trump. That would create a situation where Vance & Cabinet would be forced to 25A him or be forced to stop using the military as a pawn in a game of fascism-fueled terrorism.
