I love to learn, I am passionate about my beliefs, I appreciate polite constructive feedback, and I block toxic people (because they bring out my toxic side).
It's fine to feel whatever you feel toward trump's base, but just remember this is well known human psychology that has been leveraged many times. Those voters might be evil now, but they were turned evil intentionally. It's their leadership that is the source of the evil. Focus there.

Branding ruins t-shirt jokes. Doesn't matter which brand.

That's temporary, I believe. Mostly young men who are not being served well by the current discourse regarding feminist social concerns. And I think there are a lot of male content creators appearing to start bridge that gap. I could be wrong, but that's what I'm seeing.

"Conservatives". This applies globally, not just the US.

Ahmed al Ahmed. Why are you burying the man's name if he's a hero? Instead you name check a politician who wasn't fucking there. WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK IS WRONG WITH MEDIA? EVEN NPR?

DAYS? For a device with no spinning platters? That's fucking nuts. What reasonable process could possibly take that long?

I think people should be able to go whatever speed they want as long as it is not endangering the people around them. E-bikes are not very different from motorcycles and motor-scooters. We should be consistent in regulating them based on things like speed and the damage capacity in a collision.

Not to sound too optimistic, but this has been an issue since the beginning of language. Yellow Journalism of the 1800s always springs to mind when talking about mass disinformation. It will always be a struggle, but it's good to identify the next variation of the struggle.

Well, that's because it's impossible to quickly corroborate or disprove any fact, and always has been. It's always easy to lie. And there's never a source that will satisfy everyone. Though it has been fun to watch Grok tell Conservatives that they're full of shit.

"You wouldn't download a library!"

Oh, that's actually a good idea...
December 14, 2025 at 8:25 PM
I think that's perfectly realistic. When you've got a million eyes on your work, it's hard to NOT take it overly serious. At my job, we occasionally say out loud that it's not life and death when the servers stop working perfectly, because it absolutely FEELS that way otherwise.

The way companies like google are replacing search results with AI responses makes this all too possible. It's easy to imagine AI becoming a gatekeeper to knowledge as companies try to leverage it as a guide to knowledge.

PEOPLE ARE ALREADY CHANGING THE 2-PARTY SYSTEM. RCV IS SPREADING.

It's just not spreading fast enough, that's what I'm trying to change by talking about it.

I never claimed RCV is perfect. I am asserting it is NECESSARY for any other changes to happen.

It is possible, it is happening.

"People voted for Hitler, therefor democracy is bad." That's what you sound like. It's nonsense. If they had used OUR voting system back then, the Nazis would have had absolute power purely through the votes, and wouldn't have had to go through alliances and a violent coup!
December 14, 2025 at 7:19 AM
Yes, sure, good luck changing those things while we have an election system that makes it easy for rich people to own all the politicians. 🫤
December 14, 2025 at 6:36 AM
Oh, forgive me for misinterpreting your word salad.

This is the quality of analysis we expect of toddlers.

But for what it's worth, I think that leftists who call liberals fascists are also idiots.

Mature people are capable of nuance. Not every enemy is on the same team. Not every bad thing is the same degree of bad.

The stupidest possible response to a suggested change is “But that won’t instantly fix every problem!” The 2-party system is the nexus of all political problems in America since Reagan. No systemic changes can be made while both parties are owned by billionaires.

Yeah, 2018. Looks like 2008 was a typo.
December 13, 2025 at 8:37 PM
Why is it always "Democrats need to do better" and not "We need to implement Ranked Choice Voting to remove the spoiler effect and allow for viable 3rd party candidates"? When will we all realize that a 2-party system will NEVER be good for the people?
