It is of little consolation I know but, as a white, straight, 60 year old male, I have never felt as threatened and intimidated in my own country as I do now. I can’t imagine how it must be for you.

There has of course always been racism in this country - I grew up in Birmingham in the 70s! But I have never seen it so openly displayed and so poorly opposed as is happening now

Of course Palestine deserves statehood. They have done since at least 1948. But do you think Israel will care one jot whether the mighty UK recognises that statehood? They will not. At least this way, pressure continues to mount on Israel to stop the war
