Paul Young "quite literally" ruined two bands. He joined Bruce Springsteen under the guise of Street Band and forced him to sing that annoying song about toast. He joined A Tribe Called Quest under the guise of Q-Tips and forced them to play rip off blue eyed soul.

(One for the Gen Z-ers)
Ruin two bands by combining them.
Bruce Springsteen & The E Streetband.

I spent a whole Christmas period a few years ago driving a famous Chinese-American chef around the UK for a thing he was doing. I was driving Hom for Christmas.

"Stephen Linstead, the chair of The English Speling Society, said poeple would expect stationers to be able to spell stationary.

'Its carelesness,' he said.

'Its sloppyness. It does reflect a deteriation in standards, I am afraid,' he added."

Ringo Starr's Photograph. Where does he see her face? In public? In the media? In his mind's eye? In the photograph of her he has? My interpretation has always been the latter.

- Where does Bing Crosby go to get his Christmas food and drink?
- Straight down the Lidl!

- Where does he head for when he gets there?
- Straight down the middle!

I have a dream in which grandparents walk the grandkids round to their local libraries where they all listen to stories read by fully trained and well remunerated librarian story readers. And listening to stories will magically engender a love of reading before learning to read.
