Canada has always decried human rights abuses & supported democracy around the globe. If the USA were any other country, Canada wouId be publicly expressing concern about the weaponization of the FBI/DOJ, the deployment of troops in the streets, flouting the rule of law, & concentration camps.

At what point wouId you speak out against human rights abuses & the rise of authoritarian in the USA?

When the regime used the FBI/DOJ to persecute people on Trump’s enemies list? Building a concentration camp in Florida? Deploying troops to U.S. cities? Attacking judges? Threatening Greenland?

Donald Trump is destroying American democracy, violating human rights, ignoring the rule of law, deploying the military to U.S. cities, & using the DOJ & FBI to persecute his enemies.

Trump is shredding the U.S. Constitution. And the wannabe dictator will shred any agreement he makes with Canada.

The time has come for the Government of Canada to publicly acknowledge that human rights abuses are being perpetrated by the Trump regime & that the United States is on the path to dictatorship. Canada always speaks out in defence of human rights & democracy, & should do so now.
