My sincere thanks to ITESO, Universidad Jesuita de Guadalajara, for inviting and hosting me earlier this month. We discussed a broad range of topics, from #eurocode to #biomimetics, #sand, flow and liquefaction to #WaterManagement.

Materials that breath, regulate temperature and humidity of their surroundings, and can even self form food for cohabiting #organisms. #material that are printable, and gain strength as they age. That's the ambition.

The 3rd NiSE conference, the #nature inspired Solutions for the #Built #Environment, took place in early December last year.

Greetings from London. What's your take on roughness? What does measure it? Martinez et al. appreciate it's effect in snakeskin-like inclusions in #sands. We ditto for insect-X-like biochips in sand. Llano-Serna et al. 2022 cast doubts for #fallcone in #clay. Many oppose.
