Is there a good iOS app that lets me keep a “junk drawer” of random screenshots and document photos, and also lets me search through them? Would love to keep this stuff out of my main photo library.

iPod Socks: goofy, playful, six for $29

iPhone Pocket: snooty designer, moody marketing shots, one for $229

Maybe it’s nostalgia, but I miss the more down-to-earth Apple of the iPod era.

It’s really cool to run a side project where people message me when it goes down.

Like, real people are actually using it! I love it!

For some reason, it looks like the ebook edition of Things Become Other Things is $1.99 today. (Hardcover is also $17, which is the cheapest I've seen it; I still get the same royalties, so, you know, please, buy away 😂)

Those benchmarks from @t3.gg revealed some interesting issues in Workers. Happy to say it's all fixed now, save for some lingering next.js-specific stuff we're continuing to work on. Thanks for the reproducible test cases, @t3.gg.

I’ve never understood applying via LinkedIn, or applying in bulk.

I usually spend a few hours on an application, tailoring my resume/cover letter for the role. That method has been pretty fruitful for me.
"It's the weirdest job market in my 15 years in tech" -- from a Big Tech recruiter. But why is the job market so weird?

Talking to 30+ hiring managers and recruiters, it doesn't seem like AI. It seems more like.. interest rates.

Codex + GPT5 is really helping me refactor a large React/TypeScript codebase.

My strategy is to carefully refactor one component by hand, then ask Codex to do all the others in the same style. It’s working pretty well!
