The bridge over our national conscience supports all who cross over. It is held up by those of us able to bear the burdens of those of us with weaknesses, who as Democrats would otherwise judge Republicans or as Republicans judge Democrats.

Hateful words incite unstable people to acts of violence, while expressing words of righteous anger helps the unstable see a way forward without violence.

Goodness is a mirror in our mind that receives and reflects the light of goodness between us.

It would be nice if people changed just because they heard the truth. Those who are suffering have a better chance of changing because they need the system to change. The problem is that we believe that the truth that we are suffering is the truth.

Is your goal to help build a bridge for our national conscience that connects us despite our different political standards, without forcing anyone to give up their standard in order to meet, to have such a bridge so that we can see each other with the eyes of our heart instead of the eyes of hatred?

Building bridges is good only if they hold up against outside pressures, otherwise, they collapse when needed most. I’m talking about the strongest thing that holds us together. When we build relationships based on common hatred, they fall apart under pressure and we cannot protect our standards.

Does good human behavior shock us as much as bad human behavior?
Depends on what we’re used to.
The question then is what shocks us about our own behavior?
