In the evening, we arrived in Rouen, and it’s a festive dream! The magnificent Rouen Cathedral stole the show, its spires glowing beautifully in the evening light. Just steps away, the Christmas market was alive with festive cheer. Staying overnight means we have more time to soak it all in! 🎅✨

2.5 hours later, we arrived in Paris and headed straight to Galleries Lafayette. The Christmas displays were stunning – twinkling lights, a massive tree, and all the festive feels. Now, time to rest – tomorrow’s river cruise day! 🛳️✨

The station was packed, and no seats past security, so don’t go through too early. Boarding was chaos (giving Euston vibes), but once onboard in Eurostar Plus, we were sorted – comfy seats, fab food, and drinks included.

Our RIB adventure was absolutely exhilarating! Spotting these majestic orcas in their natural habitat was a dream come true. Victoria’s waters are truly magical! 🐬✨

Despite their size, orcas are incredibly fast swimmers, capable of reaching speeds up to 34 miles per hour (56 km/h). They are also known for their acrobatic breaches and playful behaviors. 🚀

Orcas, also known as killer whales, live in tight-knit family groups called pods. These pods are led by the oldest female, and family bonds are incredibly strong. 👩‍👧‍👦
