Excellent article. Nonverbal intelligence exists all around us. We only have to look at the animal kingdom to understand its significance. Human thought and language are intertwined. There is an ongoing debate around this topic.

Getting a pulse and power meter was a revelation and made such a difference in training. In hindsight, I wish that I knew my VO2 max back then. Would give me something to work towards. 😅

It's really amazing that we have this information at our fingertips. I recently got rid of some of my old cycling equipment from the early 2000s. Hard to believe that it was state of the art then.

Wow! I grew up in Germany, but wasn't really into Goethe. I watched the biopic below as part of my rediscovery. Euphorion, a character in Faust, is believed to have ADHD symptoms. Some think that Goethe himself had it. Could explain a few things, including his creativity.

There is an interesting book by a psychologist who also happens to be a diagnosed sociopath. Found this really helpful to get a better understanding of the disorder, but you are right, it feels so foreign that it doesn't make them more relatable. Just easier to spot and understand.
