The Canadian Medical Association left Twitter/X this week.

The announcement notes Musk's role in the Trump administration and adds "it's clear the platform has become a tool for the U.S. government and its attacks on Canadians and our sovereignty."

Way to go, Docs!

About as shocking as a duck quacking.
I’m shocked. Trump, Vance and Musk have been telling us that Putin wants peace.

Did I hear correctly that Trump Motors opened a new Tesla dealership on the White House lawn today?

Here's an impassioned opinion from a famous Canadian, William Shatner, from 15 years ago. Comedy with teeth.

Welcome to 1215. Has the new King of the USA heard about the Magna Carta, or are do we have to do the Middle Ages all over again?

Trump said today that Ukraine shouldn't have started the war with Russia.

Up is down.

Day is night.

You're supposed to believe there is no truth, because it's always a flood of lies.

Don't believe him.

Bezos chose to support Trump's Project 2025 and attacks on Canada and other allies.

He chose to shut down operations in Quebec to block legal and legitimate unionization.

Choices have consequences.

John F. Kennedy to Canada's Parliament in May 1961:

"Geography has made us neighbors. History has made us friends. Economics has made us partners. And necessity has made us allies. Those whom nature hath so joined together, let no man put asunder."

Trump and Musk are very good at breaking things.

Dear Donald,
Thanks for including us in your deranged Christmas message.
Being Canadian means free health care and limiting access to assault weapons.
In your 51st state our kids would get shot at in school and CEOs would be shot for denying health care.
So no.
Now piss off.

RAM is usually the single best way to improve the performance of your computer. It's unfortunate that Apple stopped making it upgradable, forcing many buyers into irreparable guess work at the time of purchase. Uncertainty adds stress to an already fraught upgrade.
I went from an M1 MacBook Pro with 8gb of ram to an M4 Pro with 48gb and lemme tell ya: definitely a lil faster

The mass cleanup continues with the first for-sale items posted.

Opened another box: DV tapes. The ones worth keeping.

The problem now: How do you get video off old tapes?

After a day of complexity, the solution was in a box stored ages ago.

Watching old family videos. How cool is that?

Spent an hour the other day helping a colleague sort out the software bloat on her Android phone. More and more intrusive and non-intuitive all the time, but great for tracking and selling our personal information. The biggest cyber theft of all time?

The latest update of Mac OSX came with an unexpected bonus: I can log in with a Logitech keyboard. Until now, every reboot meant digging out the Mac keyboard, logging in, then switching keyboards.

A big thanks to whomever fixed that annoying issue, even if it was accidental.

This may be the biggest migration in Internet history, bigger than Rupert's crashing of Myspace.

Yes, it's happened before.

Despite the hype, the unrealistic expectations, and millions of words written about or by it, #ChatGPT remains a semi-reliable virtual assistant that sometimes shows up to work on cocaine.

If you have electricity, you have electrocution.
