Most of these beautiful birds have started their 6000 mile migration to South Africa & Namibia for the autumn/winter, where obviously its not autumnwinter but in fact spring/summer...they'll travel up to 200 miles per day...can't wait to see them arrive back in April..

We would have used something else, but it would not have been as permanent or as convenient. What is really interesting is just who invented iron gall ink? There are a number of early recipes, but no evidence of who used it first or how they came to make it.

Greyhound racing is a cruel sport.

In 2024 alone, 123 dogs died on UK tracks. Since 2017, the total is 1,357. No dog should have to suffer and die for sport.

The Scottish Government is backing a total ban on greyhound racing in Scotland. Now England and Wales must follow suit.
