For sure - though Romero's first was a very good header, Pope is normally in the right place for that to just hit him. He'd have punched the cross for the second goal into orbit too. Think we might just have to accept that this is going to be a frustrating season.

I love Burn but he’s starting to become an absolute liability. Between him Ramsdale, they cost us that game. Spurs utterly atrocious, yet more points dropped and it’s a habit that is becoming a farce.

isn't he two-footed? think i remember reading a piece about it - would happily take that though i do wonder for the £ if he has the vision/technical ability to help us break down low blocks in the manner we seem to struggle

i really fancy we'd have had a crack at kulusevski before his knee exploded and/or spurs won UEL

Noni Madueke said to be on the market now... would he factor into the equation? Seems like the sort of player Howe would like on that side... strong ball-carrier, high volume shot-taker etc

Not this one. Not his finest season this year but a full summer off and a Champions League stage to impress next year, he’ll be back as a fan favourite before long

can't see all of our business being done in the premier league though, particularly after the mitchell comments when he arrived at the club. two of delap/mbuemo/ramsay would be nice and then a couple of 'out of the blue' signings from beyond #NUFC

Think it’s still tight until we get the other side of Villa & Chelsea

It's not an assumption to suggest Dubravka is less active off his line than Pope, it's the reality. Dubravka has performed 130 actions outside his area since 2017-18, Pope has performed 377 at an average distance much further from his own touchline (16.3 yards vs 12.1)
