And I work in my dream industry. It’s unstable and frustrating, but I make movies goddamnit! And I’m married to a damn good man who is ALWAYS there for me. Who will ALWAYS protect me, and fight for me. Without whom I know I would not be here.

But I’m also not starving myself anymore. I came out as trans to even my Trump supporting family. I have welcomed the Old Gods into my life and they have transformed me and helped me find the path to who I have always been. One I am still traveling.

I’m still scared (more so actually), I’m still angry (so, so angry), and I’m a more violent minded person than I was, I’m jaded, I’m disillusioned, and I feel stuck.

I have to look at how far I have come as a person since then. In 2016 I was a DIRTBAG. I was scared, I was angry, I was betrayed, I was a bad friend, but at least I never once voted for Trump.
