I finished reading Circe, and it didn't quite live up to my expectations, especially after loving The Song of Achilles. The story seemed to lack depth and didn't have any real driving force, and I struggled to become invested in the characters.

These age verification initiatives is a privacy nightmare. Terrible policies hastily put out without a second thought to wider implications is endangering safety while offering no real protection in the way it is intended. This will drive people deeper into the darker pits of the net.

Public accounts committee says ‘systemic issues’ at DWP led to carers being wrongly forced to repay overpayments
An influential MPs’ committee has urged welfare bosses to speed up redress for tens of thousands of unpaid carers who stand to have huge benefit debts written off after they were wrongly hit with carer’s allowance penalties.
