Heads up! Georgia Equality's office will be closed for the holidays starting today, December 22, through Friday, January 2.

🧵(2/4) From expanding our programmatic work, to helping LGBTQ+ students resist and organize, to getting over 1 million views on a transgender truth-telling ad campaign– we stayed busy working for a better future for LGBTQ+ Georgians.

Today is World AIDS Day, a day to honor the lives of those affected by HIV.

This year, GA Equality's organizing manager, Noël Heatherland, wrote about TDORR & reflected on one life cut too short– Marisol Payero, a trans advocate & KSU student leader who passed recently.
