We collected over 1,000 POUNDS of debris! 🤯 More than 150 volunteers teamed up with Ismaili CIVIC, Adamah ATL & The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany for this year's #WorldRiversDay clean-up across four sites. We removed tires, a waterlogged mattress, and more!

Georgia Congregations Move Forward With Solar, Despite IRA Funding Rollback — Georgia Interfaith Power and Light

Decatur, Ga — Despite recent clawbacks to federal Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) solar financing, nonprofit Georgia Interfaith Power & Light (GIPL) is still committed to finding ways to make solar feasible for faith communities like Peachtree Hills Seventh Day Adventist of Newnan and Brookhaven Christian Church. Thanks to $15,000 zero-percent interest solar loans, both congregations have been able to move forward in recent weeks with installing solar on their churches.
