No! It's only rarely medically necessary and definitely done with out the child's consent. Intersex kids can have the same gender issues trans kids have as the doctors frequently pick the wrong sex for their gender and theirs could have been easily prevented by waiting.

Well then it good that those aren't typically done on trans kids! poor intersex kids on the other hand, get them without consenting.
