My first language is Scots, and it was so even as a kid. By the time I could go to school at 4½ I was bilingual as I spoke English as well.

Tell that to my boss who refused to let me work from home for 2 weeks at the start of this respiratory virus (not flu). I was still expected in the office or out in locality drop-ins. On the 3 week of the virus I was on annual leave, and I'm now on my 2nd week of sick leave as he's only now

Every new strain of flu is a "mutant" strain, and you will see a spike in cases as people need to build immunity to when exposed. This type of reporting is nothing more than xenophobic fear mongering, and is complete bullshit.

The boss accused me of giving him my "cold", and he worked from home for one day. He was back in the office the following day with no cough or runny nose. So he was skiving at home it seems. I also don't have a cold, it is either another respiratory virus or 100 day cough.

Mine made me go into the office for 2 weeks before I was off on annual leave. I can work from home, but wasn't allowed to do so. I'm now entering week 4 of being ill, and I've had to call in sick because he still wasn't letting me work from home.

As a Scottish taxpayer who was a carer for 35 years, I don't need a little thank you, because anyone worth their salt doesn't mind paying taxes for it to go to things like this, or free prescriptions, free Uni fees, free baby boxes, free bus travel for under 22s; disabled; and over 65s.

I'm Scottish, and in my 48 years both on this planet and living in this amazing country, not have I ever considered English as my first language. Scots is, and always will be my first language. I have been forced to learn English as it is what our oppressors from Westminster demand of us.

I was born in Scotland, raised in Scotland, educated in Scotland, still live in Scotland after 48 years, & English isn't my first language, Scots is. He's spouting hate & being allowed to get away with it without challenge that we have 2 official languages, Scots & Gaelic, and one forced on us.

Freedom to protest is a basic human right. To refuse someone that right is an ECHR matter. Whether you agree with someone's beliefs or not, we all need to defend a person's right to peaceful protest, and for peaceful counter-protest.
