*Two* celebrities I recognise on House of Games! That's a rarity for me!

I'm amazed he can spell "BE".
geospacedman.bsky.social
What's "BE" referring to in the "RIP BE" plate? Oh its British Empire isn't it.

Haven't had one of those since they looked like this...
An old empty wrapper for a Boost chocolate bar. Red, with the Cadbury's logo an the word Boost.

There are plenty more like Graham.

Six-figure salaries at the top, cuts and chaos for staff.

These were built by my Dad many years ago after I showed him some commercial ones that were about £1000 for the set, and he said "I can do that" and after he did do that he said "I'm never doing that again".

But when I run out of shelf space I know there's another piece coming down soon...

Not sure why I've decided to rearrange the furniture today, maybe its because the Dr Spin track of the Tetris theme was on #TOTP on Friday... #earworm

Today I have mostly been...playing Tetris.
Some wooden shelves shaped as Tetris blocks arranged under a shelf. Terrible carpet.

I didn't realise you could delete the Discovery feed because they don't call it deleting. You unpin it. But it's the same effect, it's gone and you don't accidentally click on it any more.

I deleted that one from my feeds list so I’ll never ever accidentally click on it lol. It’s the bad place

I'm sure most of the Right Move views on a friend's house came via the "seen on Right Move" Reddit thread from people trying to find all seven of his cats.

I'm not sure what Peter Grant did could be called "Marketing", but it worked.

Found a reference in "Fancyclopedia" for something of that name in the 1980s but produced by someone in Detroit... Seems unlikely... fancyclopedia.org/Sticky_Wicket

I have replies open but I recognise that's my white male cishet privilege card at play here.

You also see them when someone you follow reskeets a skeet with closed-off replies. Then its less of a true "rando" but at least a contact of a contact, which is kinda how we build social networks. I'd like to have open replies from contacts of contacts but not more "distant" than that. YMMV.

There's also no Grad bar and a couple of others closed too, Bowland maybe.

Ooh its Grizedale College's 50th birthday next year and something might be happening in March... (not that there's a brick left of the original college and the current one doesn't have a functioning bar...)
