Ooo!!! I’m surprised you’re having issues with the original Tailfin bags though as I’m much shorter than you and I don’t really have issues (unless mine is massively overpacked like here)

I smushed out 130miles +a bonus 18 miles today. Storm Amy could have been much worse but she ended up being relatively benign down these parts!

I rode my last big audax of the audax season last weekend! 400K through Suffolk, up to the Norfolk coast, and all the way back down again. The weather, the brilliant company on the road, the beautiful sunrise. The whole experience felt like a marvellous gift!

Pretty tired from a great weekend of tourdaxing (a wonderful combination of audaxing (100k per day, with very generous time limits) and touring/camping. I have mosquito bites and I am severely sleep-deprived but what a brilliant weekend!

I’m upset because I woke up at 4.30am and I’ve ridden a fuck load of surprise stabby hills in the rain to come to the realisation that cycling over Yad Moss would be fucking foolish. Visibility at 800-1000ft

Innerleithen is a little cycling and hiking town nestled in the borders. I love it here already!!!! So many bike shops and the cafe is dreamy AF
