Open to all that promotes openness and universal flourishing; against all that negates this.
It also shows that workers don’t get back what they put in.

Yes, methinks it might have originated in the first people to be bludgeoned by them.

An electoral pact between the LP and the GP, where the least likely to win stands down is crucial. It should be an explicitly anti-fascist union. The LP are unlikely to propose this, so the Greens must. The pact should include a commitment to PR.

I agree with what is said here. The Qu is: What outcome to the protests would provide the best conditions for fighting for genuine democracy and universal values?

I’m not against mockery, but a problem with this is that many on the far right also resort to mockery (or try to). Ultimately truth and universal values have to be the foundation of combatting the influence of fascism, however much this is fuelled by resentment and tribalism.

The prevailing belief that truth is an ideal might still linger in our post-truth era, but in fact this ideal has never had great sway within capitalism. It is not so the truth that needs establishing, so much as a disposition towards it.

Self determination requires the capability to defend oneself. But it also implies working for the common good. Do existing state armies do this, or can be relied upon to do so? I think not. Which is why they need to be re-founded on a genuine democratic basis. Even so, rearmament may not not best.
